Upcoming Shows

9/24 - Mel DiBurPho at the Bluebird

9/9 - Gary in the Round at the Bluebird

Hello all you folks with way too much time on your hands!!!!

Summer's here and the time is right for dancing in the street. Unfortunately I recently had my knee replaced so dancing in the street is on the "do not do" list my doctor gave me (right below greco-roman wrestling and Asian hookers).

I have, however, just returned from a fabulous tour with Carole King. We hit Florida for a couple of shows and then went up to Connecticut. All my family showed up to see the show. I had to be coaxed out of the dressing room with Spam and Yoo-Hoo. Then it was up to Niagara Falls. We got to the hotel at 8AM after a ten hour drive from Hartford. I went to my room, fell asleep for four more hours, opened my shades.... and I was looking down into a rainbow arcing into the Falls. Breathtaking. I love my life. This is turning into a blog so I will sign off for now. I will add some what's new to the what's new and keep everyone on notice in case I come near YOUR national landmarks.

What's New?

7/12 - The Great Nashville Flood

Some of you in the local area may have heard Gary's voice on a song being played on Channel 4, a tribute to Nashville and its resilience throughout this whole 'flood' thing.
Some of you may even have seen his interview on the same channel... so here's the story:
Gary was honored when he was asked to write a song about Nashville after the flood went through. He personally wasn't terribly affected, but so many people were that it's impossible to not feel the pain of all of those around you down here. Channel 4 (WSMV) has been playing this song for a few weeks now, and its been amazing the response that it's getting.
The hope and rumor is that Channel 4 will soon be putting up this song (called "When One Of Us Stands", by the way) for purchase on their site soon. All proceeds would be put straight towards flood relief and helping those people still suffering... yeah, it's been two months or so, but there's still so much damage, and so many people without homes, businesses, etc....
We'll try to keep everyone informed. Until then, stay dry.
